Shannon Larkin, LCSW, CADC, ATE
Child, Family, and Adult Therapist

     Shannon Larkin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is also a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC). She has received specialized training and holds an Adolescent Treatment Endorsement with her CADC. Ms. Larkin is a seasoned clinician working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She completed her Bachelor's Degree at Illinois State University and received her Master's Degree with a focus on mental and substance abuse issues from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

     Shannon was a lead clinician at Rosecrance Treatment Center where she provided individual, family, and group therapy. She has received specialized training in Structural Family Therapy and couples counseling. Ms. Larkin has gained additional experience and expertise in addressing abuse related issues, PTSD, co-morbid substance abuse and mental illness, anxiety, and depression, self-harm, and Bipolar Disorder.

     Ms. Larkin is adept at providing cognitive-behavioral counseling to children through adult ages. Her warm and empathic nature makes her an easy clinician for clients to engage in a corroborative working relationship. Parents have found her ability to engage their children and adolescents a significant strength in addition to at the same time be responsive to parent concerns. Families and couples have found her able to provide effective guidance and direction leading to growth and change.

  Dr. Malcom Haggerty
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

     Dr. Haggerty is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He obtained his Doctorate of Psychology Degree at Argosy University Chicago.  He completed his Master’s Degree in Counseling Services while serving on active duty in the United States Navy in 1990. 

     Dr. Haggerty has experience with adult, child, and adolescent challenges. He has  training working with foster children and families requiring specialized services, providing services to those dealing with current trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and a wide and varied background working with adults experiencing a wide array of life adjustment issues to more significant mental health challenges. He has worked at a VA hospital and most recently on the Elmhurst Behavioral Health Hospital Unit. Dr. Haggerty has benefited from a diverse work experience and training in a variety of different mental health settings.

      Dr. Haggerty is additionally an adept and experienced marital and couples therapist.  His down to earth and friendly personality helps facilitate a trusting working relationship with his clients. Dr. Haggerty has a strong grounding in the most current research supported treatments and methods to facilitate improved functioning and problem solving.

Dr. Jaime Maurella, PsyD, LCP
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Maurella is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience and training providing therapy to children, teens, and adults. Dr. Maurella completed both her Master’s degree and doctorate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Undergraduate studies include a double major in Criminal/Social Justice and Psychology, graduating with honors from Lewis University. Dr. Maurella has experience in working with a wide range of problems in children and adolescents. Dr. Maurella has specialized training in play therapy strategies for children as young as five-years old. She is an an effective family therapist having a background in parent coaching and parent education. Her skills in these areas have helped her assist children and families overcome difficulties associated with anxiety, behavioral problems, depression, ADHD, Asperger's Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Non-verbal Learning Disorder.

    Dr. Maurella focuses on providing children and parents with specific strategies and concrete tools they can use to facilitate both immediate and lasting changes. Dr. Maurella is also a talented clinician with adolescents and teens having the ability to connect and motivate teens to become active participants in their individual or family therapy goals. She has worked with teens and families dealing with bullying situations as well as other peer related challenges. Dr. Maurella has a strong clinical background and the ability to translate these skills in creating an effective counseling relationship.

Matthew A. Potter, LCPC, NCC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

    Matthew Potter is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 20 years of experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. He received his BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana and his Masters in Education from the University of Missouri. Matt has previous experience working at mental health hospitals and oupatient therapy programs and has a broad range of expereince with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive problems. He is adept in working with more servere and chronic behavioral health problems and also more common problems such as stress, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. 

    He is a popular therapist with male adolescents and teens due to his ability to connect with boys and their families by providing a comfortable yet direct approach in providing education, strategies, and skills to reduce symptoms and improve functioning. Matthew is also often referred to work with adult clients for a variety of issues including depression and anxiety. He is experienced in providing couples and marital therapy and helping couples work through issues of infidelity, conflict, and stress. Matt believes strongly in continuing education and remains current and knowledgeable on researched approaches to ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Marital Therapy strategies, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Depression and Anxiety.

Joyce Geiter, MSW, LCSW
Adolescent and Adult Therapist

    Joyce Geiter is an experienced therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Masters Degree from George Williams College in Illinois. She also graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a major in Christian Education. She has taught college courses and designed and implemented a twelve-week course for mothers. She has led various groups for women. When requested, Joyce will follow her client's lead in incoporating their Christian Faith into the process of healing and overcoming challenges in counseling.
    Joyce has experience in supporting families and couples in working through a variety of mental health issues. For the past ten years, Joyce has been providing individual, family and group therapy services for adolescents and adults. Her background in working at a therapeutic school has equipped her to effectively deal with severe and difficult adolescent behaviors. She also works regularly with adult and mature women. Joyce is a highly experienced clinician who melds an empathic and compassionate style with wisdom and clinical sensitivity.

Dr. Joe Roszkowski, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Joe is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working in the human services field for over twelve years. He provides individual, family, and couples therapy, and psychological testing to children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Roszkowski created and leads the Activity Counseling Social and Coping Skills Groups for Boys Program at Pathways. He completed his Doctorate and Masters Degree in Psychology at Roosevelt University. Dr. Joe was awarded his Bachelor Degree in Religion at Florida State University. He has received training in both psychological and neuropsychological assessment. He is referred children and adults for psychological testing from public and parochial schools as well as through the state of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. 
    Dr. Joe is certified in EMDR and trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Pastoral Counseling. He was an adjunct faculty member at Roosevelt University where he taught Bachelors and Masters level psychology courses. He has served as an expert witness in family cases in DuPage County and Kane County. Dr. Joe has served elsewhere as a Clinical Director and continues to provide supervision to other therapists and doctoral interns. He is a consultant for private and non-profit organizations. Dr. Joe is not only talented in working with boys but is sought after for his practical and functional psychological assessments and solution focused approach in working with both young and mature adults.

Christine Malm, MS, LCPC
Therapist

    Christine Malm is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been working in the Human Services field for the past seven years. Christine received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from North Central College where she became a member of The National Honors Society in Psychology. Her research and publications are in negative body image in young adults. 
    Christine is an experienced and adept family therapist and individual therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has a specialty in providing counseling support to parents of children with disabilities and autistic disorders. Christine has a background in treating severe mental health issues to lesser problems related to life adjustments with children and adults. She has also worked with children and families with divorce/separation related circumstances. She has facilitated numerous groups for young teens and for parents of teenagers. Christine is well qualified in providing therapy to children, adults, and families and offers a warm yet goal-oriented approach to helping her clients.

Christine Davis, MS, BCBA
Behavior Analyst

    Christine Davis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the human services field for the past 6 years. Christine received both her undergraduate and graduate training at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She currently holds a Master’s of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Arts, double degree, in Psychology and Administration of Justice. Christine is skilled in using applied behavior analysis techniques to assist with parent coaching, develop and implement effective skill building techniques to reduce display of behavior problems, as well as, employ successful staff training methods.

    Christine’s experience includes providing behavioral assessment, consultation, and therapy to children exposed to trauma, individuals diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries, mental illnesses, and behavioral disorders. In addition, Christine has utilized applied behavior analysis and cognitive-behavioral therapies to work with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and a range of Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Christine has worked with a variety of age groups, ranging from early childhood through adulthood. She has provided in-home behavioral consultation and therapy, as well as worked as a behavioral consultant for adult residential and day service programs, nursing homes, and day camps for children with developmental disabilities. Academically, Christine has assisted in teaching on-line graduate level courses in behavior analysis and therapy, and conducted numerous presentations at local and national conferences on her work done with individuals with developmental disabilities.
