Staff Biographies
The clinicians at Pathways Psychology Services have multiple areas of specialization, advanced training, and experience in different types of treatment including: child and teen counseling, adult therapy, family therapy, couples and marriage counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, and psychological testing.
We are qualified to provide therapy and assessment for many types of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral problems with children and adults including: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Attention Deficit Disorder - ADD, Bipolar Disorder, Asperger's Disorder, autistic spectrum, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, panic attacks, social anxiety, separation anxiety, marital issues, divorce related issues, anger management, behavior problems, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attachment Disorder, PTSD, adoption issues, grief and bereavement, stress management, and adjustment issues related to life stressors.

Dr. Joe Roszkowski, PsyD Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Joe is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working in the human services field for over twelve years. He provides individual, family, and couples therapy, and psychological testing to children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Roszkowski created and leads the Activity Counseling Social and Coping Skills Groups for Boys Program at Pathways. He completed his Doctorate and Masters Degree in Psychology at Roosevelt University. Dr. Joe was awarded his Bachelor Degree in Religion at Florida State University. He is certified in EMDR and trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Pastoral Counseling. He was an adjunct faculty member at Roosevelt University where he taught Bachelors and Masters level psychology courses. He has served as an expert witness in family cases in DuPage County and Kane County. Dr. Joe also provides supervision to other therapists, interns, and is a consultant for private and non-profit organizations. Dr. Joe is not only talented in working with boys but is sought after for his practical and functional psychological assessments and solution focused approach in working with both young and mature adults. Anne Callanan, MS, LCSW Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Anne Callanan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who began working in the mental health field in 1978. Since then she has worked in various positions providing direct services to children, adults, and families while also raising her two children. She has spent the last twelve years working as a school social worker providing supportive services for children ages preschool through high school and their parents. Anne has led groups for parents and children and also provides individual and family therapy at Pathways. She is the leader of the Journeys Social Skills and Self-Esteem Groups for Girls at Pathways. Anne attended Assumption College in Worchester, Massachusetts, gaining the equivalent of a degree in rehabilitative counseling. She has her Masters Degree in Social Work from Aurora University. Anne has experience providing therapeutic services to adults and children. She has a rare combination of accessibility, nurturing, and practical insight that makes her popular among young children, adolescents, and adults alike. Joyce Geiter, MSW, LCSW Adolescent and Adult Therapist Joyce Geiter is an experienced therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Masters Degree from George Williams College in Illinois. She also graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a major in Christian Education. She has taught college courses and designed and implemented a twelve-week course for mothers. She has led various groups for women. Joyce has experience in supporting families and couples in working through a variety of mental health issues. For the past ten years, Joyce has been providing individual, family and group therapy services for adolescents and adults. Her background in working at a therapeutic school has equipped her to effectively deal with severe and difficult adolescent behaviors. She also works regularly with adult and mature women. Joyce is a highly experienced clinician who melds an empathic and compassionate style with wisdom and clinical sensitivity. Areas of Specialization and Experience Include:

Christine Malm, MS, LCPC Therapist Christine Malm is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been working in the Human Services field for the past seven years. Christine received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from North Central College where she became a member of The National Honors Society in Psychology. Her research and publications are in negative body image in young adults. Christine is an experienced and adept family therapist and individual therapist working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has a specialty in providing counseling support to parents of children with disabilities and autistic disorders. Christine has a background in treating severe mental health issues to lesser problems related to life adjustments with children and adults. She has also worked with children and families with divorce/separation related circumstances. She has facilitated numerous groups for young teens and for parents of teenagers. Christine is well qualified in providing therapy to children, adults, and families and offers a warm yet goal-oriented approach to helping her clients. Areas of Specialization and Experience Include:

Christine Davis, MS, BCBA Behavior Analyst, Individual and Family Counselor Christine Davis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working in the human services field for the past six years. Christine received both her undergraduate and graduate training at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She currently holds a Masters of Science in Behavior Analysis and Therapy and a Bachelors of Arts, double degree, in Psychology and Administration of Justice. Christine is skilled in using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to assist with parent coaching, developing and implementing effective skill building techniques to reduce behavior problems, and employing successful staff training methods. Christine’s experience includes providing behavioral assessment, consultation, and therapy to children exposed to trauma, individuals diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries, mental illnesses, and behavioral disorders. In addition, Christine has utilized applied behavior analysis and cognitive-behavioral therapies to work with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and a range of Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Christine has worked with a variety of age groups, ranging from early childhood through adulthood. She has provided in-home behavioral consultation and therapy, as well as worked as a behavioral consultant for adult residential and day service programs, nursing homes, and day camps for children with developmental disabilities. Academically, Christine has assisted in teaching on-line graduate level courses in behavior analysis and therapy, and conducted numerous presentations at local and national conferences on her work done with individuals with developmental disabilities. Christine is a skilled counselor adept at providing the most up-to-date researched approaches to counseling and behavioral planning. Areas of Specialization and Experience Include:

Dr. Elizabeth Gabel Doctor of Psychology Dr. Gabel is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology who has been working in the human services field for the last 6 years. She completed her Doctorate and Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Gabel completed her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at The University of South Alabama. Her research is in Bullying Behaviors in Middle and High School Students. She provides individual and family therapy to adults and children as well as comprehensive psychological assessment. Dr. Gabel has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Aurora University and College of DuPage where she has taught Bachelors level classes in Abnormal Psychology, Psychological Testing, Introduction to Psychology, and Child and Adolescent Development.
